Learn, practice and enjoy Thinking!
We guide students through 3 to 6 distinct exercises, each focusing on a specific cognitive skill while working toward a complex challenge. The program systematically develops creative capacity through Generative and Divergent Thinking (seeing many ideas). It builds systematic planning by mastering Pattern Recognition (finding the rule) and Sequencing (step-by-step planning). Students will learn insightful problem-solving using Lateral Thinking to find hidden clues and challenge assumptions, complemented by Critical Thinking for checking work against established rules. The entire process is centered on Collaboration to ensure teamwork, with an emphasis on Constructive Logic for building and proving the final answer.
This program for grades 8-12 uses 3 to 6 advanced challenges to teach students to Focus on the Process, Not Just the Answer. It develops creative breadth through Generative and Divergent Thinking and analytical depth through Convergent and Critical Thinking , utilizing structured tools like PMI for analysis and critique. Students master Logical Deduction to build step-by-step proofs and employ Lateral Thinking to find hidden insights and bypass faulty assumptions. The final emphasis is on Pro-active Planning and Collaborative Systems Thinking to optimize results and ensure effective group consensus.
This session teaches students the meaning of 100% Effort and how it is the crucial difference between being "almost done" and achieving full completion. The core lesson is that a job is only 100% done when there are No Gaps (all tasks finished) and the work is followed by Finish Clean (the clean-up step). Students learn a four-step routine—Plan, Focus, Complete, and Clean Up! —to ensure this level of detail. By mastering their routine and taking responsibility for tasks without reminders, they earn the status of a 100% Super Kid.
This comprehensive program series is designed to develop students into effective thinkers and masters of execution. The Thinking Workshops train students in core problem-solving skills across all grade levels, including Generative, Lateral, and Critical Thinking, alongside Logical and Constructive Logic for building and proving solutions. Complementing this, the Effort and Mastery Sessions teach discipline and quality control. Junior students focus on 100% Responsibility and routines to "Finish Clean" without reminders. Senior students are challenged to achieve expert-level quality by mastering the "Hidden 90%" of any task, emphasizing Proactive Preparation, Efficiency, and Fact-First Communication to demonstrate true initiative. The ultimate goal is to ensure students know both how to think and how to execute with confidence and discipline.
This staff program is a strategic planning workshop utilizing the Six Thinking Hats methodology to provide a disciplined framework for team decision-making across two crucial institutional priorities. The session addresses Strategic Enrollment Growth, which systematically challenges the team to analyze the facts, risks, benefits, and creative options for increasing student strength by 15%. The second focus, Building Our Digital Identity, aims to establish a unified digital foundation, including creating professional staff and student email IDs and using Google Sites as a central communication hub for all resources.
